Calculate your own waterfootprint

WATER FOOTPRINT
Your individual “water footprint” depends on what you consume: your food consumption, consumption of goods and services and your domestic water use. Recently, three simple “water footprint calculators” have become online available!
The extended calculator enables you to calculate your own water footprint on the basis of relatively detailed data on your consumption pattern.
A quick calculator enables a rapid assessment of your own water footprint.
A third simple calculator enables you to get the average water footprint in a certain country.

The tools are based on in-depth research, but are primarily meant as instructive tools, to give people insight in the relation between consumption and water requirements. The tools have been developed by the UNESCO-IHE Institute of Water Education, in collaboration with the University of Twente, the Netherlands.
